About the Owner
Margot Raggett MBE
Margot has been visiting Kefalonia for more than thirty years and finally took the plunge to buy on the island in 2010. A former PR company director, in recent years she focused first on building a career as a wildlife photographer, and then on founding the award-winning conservation organisation Remembering Wildlife.
She often "works from home" at Korianna House while running Remembering Wildlife, because she loves the immersion in nature that the villa brings. From the swallows nesting on the balcony, to Thermee — the local stray cat who has become a much-loved character for Margot and visitors alike — to the loggerhead turtles nesting on the beach below, this place has become her sanctuary, and she opens it to guests to enjoy in the same spirit.
The villa is full of her photographs: a quiet record of the wildlife and landscapes she has spent a lifetime documenting, from the Ionian to East Africa.

A note from Margot
"Korianna is the home I dreamed of for a decade before I built it. I love sharing it with people who will love it as much as I do."
